What it is

A place to ask better questions about AI at work.

AI for Business Leaders is a new, free community we're starting for people who run small and mid-sized businesses. The aim is simple: to help you see which everyday tasks AI can sensibly help with, which it can't, and how to try it without putting your customers, staff or data at risk.

Practical

Real, everyday examples, not technical talk.

Honest

We'll cover the limits and risks as well as the benefits.

Independent

Vendor-neutral. We don't sell tools or services here.

Free and voluntary

Join what's useful and leave whenever you like.

Who it's for

People responsible for the business, not just the technology.

  • Owners, founders, CEOs, managing directors and operations leaders.
  • Businesses with roughly 1–250 staff.
  • Based in the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada or Australia (everyone is welcome).
  • Sectors such as recruitment, accounting, marketing agencies, IT services, ecommerce, property management, logistics and professional services.

No technical knowledge needed. If you can describe a task your team repeats every week, you're in the right place.

Why join

Make informed decisions, with people still in charge.

  • Spend less time on admin. Find out which routine jobs (paperwork, follow-ups, status updates) are worth automating, and which aren't.
  • Cut through the hype. Plain-English explanations, with no jargon and no sales pitch.
  • Stay safe. Simple guidance on privacy, security and keeping a person in charge.
  • Learn from peers. Hear how other leaders are approaching the same problems as the community grows.
  • Set the agenda. Suggest the problems you'd like us to discuss.

What we're planning

Useful, manageable and entirely optional.

  • A free monthly webinar (30 minutes) on one practical topic, with time for questions.
  • A free monthly newsletter (optional, about a five-minute read) with examples, a safety tip and upcoming sessions.
  • Practical guides and checklists as the community grows, for example a one-page “should we automate this?” checklist.
  • A chance to suggest topics and share experiences (anonymously if you prefer).

These are planned. The first session and first newsletter are still to come.

The first session

One practical introduction.
No technical background required.
